Position Overview Client is looking for Lead Back-End Developers who can guide technical teams through all phases of the software development life cycle, including ownership of the entire technical track of an engagement and all related modules. Candidates are expected to participate in multiple phases of projects, including requirements gathering, software design, development, and testing. They must be proficient with object-oriented programming, including software design and design patterns. Experience working with standard application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss AS) and/or integrating with diverse front-end technologies (e.g., iOS, Android, HTML5) is a plus. Candidates must be proficient with standard Java and Python development, including software design and design patterns, open source frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate), build tools (e.g., Ant, Maven) and popular IDEs (e.g., Eclipse). Some exposure or experience with the NodeJS development stack is a plus (npm, MongoDB, Express, Mocha). Lead Back-End Developers must have IT consulting experience, be familiar with a team approach to execution, possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to travel.
