Summary of role UI developers will create both rapid prototypes, usually in 2 to 3 weeks, as well as full-scale applications typically within 2 to 3 months, by working collaboratively and iteratively through design and development to deliver fully functioning web-based and mobile applications that meet business goals Front end engineer who delivers high quality software in a predictable and sustainable manner. Ability to live, breath and practice the agile mindset. Apply modern front end technologies (web and mobile native) using modern frameworks with to rapidly develop creative and efficient user experiences Collaborate with agile team members to develop clear user stories and testable products that can be deployed in a iterative manner to users Engage effectively with business stakeholders on the value/effort trade offs for new or enhances product capabilities. Typical skills, and background . 5+ years expert experience in HTML5/CSS/JavaScript and building mobile, responsive/adaptive web applications . Experience with tooling and the webapp development stack: grunt/gulp, bower, npm etc. . Knowledge of Scrum/Agile or Kanban software development processes . Strong professional experience with Javascript MVC frameworks (e.g., React, Angular JS, Backbone, etc.) . Experience or working knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: C#, Java, Node JS, Ruby on Rails, Python . Experience writing or utilizing RESTful API services, performance tuning user experiences and supporting multiple browsers .
