Production Support Analyst with financial trading/OTC Derivatives/Capital Markets background Job Title / Function: Production Support - Consultant Department Name: Technology - Support Interviewing Department: Technology Locals only as phone and onsite interview is a must. Please submit resume with copy of H1 (If the candidate is on H1) and driving license copy. Daily Rate: We can pay $550/day on W2 all inclusive no benefits or $600.day corp 2 corp. Will prefer candidates to be on our W2. Target Start Date: 3/1/2017 Key Responsibilities: * 1st level support and other key initiatives. * Perform quick analysis on impact and identify root cause for incidents. Engage relevant stakeholders for resolutions or work around to the issue. * Communicate and advise all the stakeholders on issue occurrence and plans for resolutions. * Monitor key business processes for timely completion and monitor underlying systems and hardware statistics. * Write scripts for automation and trouble shooting of incidents. * Train users on systems usage and provide feedback to the developers to improve end users experience. * Work with developers and business analysts to document on how-to for key systems functions. * Document and file incidents for resolutions. Follow up and communicate to the end users and other stakeholders on the state of the incident. * Other duties as assigned. Experience and Skills required: * Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, statistics, Engineering or similar. Advanced degree preferred. * 10+ years of work experience in the area of production support while assisting users in the areas trading and end of day processes. * Good knowledge on capital markets, OTC derivatives products and their related business processes * 10+ years of experience in Solaris, Linux, Windows, PLSQL, Oracle, Informix, Autosys and any scripting tools. * Experience with supporting investment banking regulatory processes is desirable. * Understanding multi-tiered application architecture and relational database schema required. * Excellent communications skills along with attention to details. * Ability to work independently and Results oriented team player.
