International Symposium
>From the production to the long-term preservation of digital objects: international experiences Bibliothèque nationale de France Paris, 25-27th april 2007 Co-organized by IFLA Core Activity on Preservation and Conservation (PAC), the BnF (National Library of France) and the Institut national du Patrimoine (National Institute of Heritage), this symposium will focus on the long-term preservation of digital resources. The main goal will be to propose a statement of art thanks to the contribution of the best experts in the field and to enlighten the issues at stake by introducing international programs besides experiences and choices in France. The first day will be focused on digital data production. The second day will deal with the harvesting of digital objects and with Web archiving.
