The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is organizing an
international workshop on Digital Preservation and Copyright, to be held in
Geneva, Switzerland, on July 15, 2008.
The meeting is being developed in cooperation with the Library of Congress
(US), JISC (UK), Oak Law (Australia), and the SURF Foundation (Netherlands).
The aim of the meeting is to contribute to the debate among stakeholders and
policy makers on how to develop and improve policies and practices that
support
digital preservation of copyrighted content.
