Joined Up and Working: tools and methods for digital preservation

The final date for submission of abstracts to iPRES 2008 is Wednesday 11 June 2008 and papers should be submitted by 17:00 (BST) on that date. The reviewing process will take place between 11 June and 24 June and speakers will be notified of acceptance on Wednesday 25 June.

Abstracts should be submitted in pdf format and be limited to 2 pages and 1,000 words. This includes title and author information, but excludes references. iPRES is a series of international conferences which seek to address issues relating to digital preservation. The conference will bring together experts and practitioners across the spectrum of digital preservation disciplines and internationally. We invite you to submit papers and presentations that present substantial new results, contribute to the conceptual foundations of digital preservation, or show novel applications of existing work. Empirical evidence demonstrating what works – and what doesn’t – is also welcome.
