It's happening in -[NSString(BDSKMODSParserExtensions) isMODSString],  
more precisely in -[NSXMLDocument initWithXMLString:options:error:].  
Seems a bug in NSXMLDocument. Do you have an alternative way of  
recognizing MODS?
