I just joined the mailing list and ran the getBibdeskSVN script.
That went fine.
Welcome! That reminds me: getBibdeskSVN is now outdated. James
Howison seems to maintain that, so hopefully he can fix it.
The bibdesk_vendorsrc and bibdeskinputmanager folders are now located
in bibdesk/vendorsrc, and are updated via svn external properties.
Aha! Should I delete the downloaded folders and do a manual svn
checkout now?
However, there does not seem to be a "BuildMeFirst" target anywhere
- or maybe I'm stupid and looking in the wrong place? The targets I
see are: BibDesk, BibDesk Help, latex2rtf, pdftotext, HeaderDoc,
DiskImage, TestBibItem and TestComplexString. Could anyone help me
out?
Building BibDesk in Release configuration will build the latex2rtf and
pdftotext targets, along with all other dependencies. Building in
Debug will build everything except latex2rtf and pdftotext. We're now
using cross-project dependencies, so BuildMeFirst was no longer
needed.
Ok.
What instructions were you following for the build process? We need
to update them.
It was mentioned in two places:
- after the perl script finished ("3. Remember to build the "Build me
First" target before trying to build the bibdesk target. (builds
frameworks etc)")
- on this web site: http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/
