This server does not return MARC, or any format we can read. It returns SUTRS, which is almost impossible to read by a machine (it's not really a format, it's supposed to be human readable).

Dear developer,

I use BibDesk to organize my bibliography. I would like to improve it by using BibDesk to search the references directly on internet by using z39.50 protocol with the ADS abstract service of the NASA. Nevertheless, after set it in ''new research group'', it does no work as well as the other research groups as ''Web Of Science SCI'' for exemple.

here, the host and port of the z39.50 service of the ADS
host : z3950.adsabs.harvard.edu
port : 210

When I set ''au=gillard'' for example, to search article write by author called ''gillard'', Bibdesk found articles, but all the information (title, bublisher, author ...) are recorde in the field Annote. That give the import of the information unhelpful. And finally, it is quicker to search the references by myself directly on internet than to copy each information in the good field after import.

Nonetheless, I am highly interested to use bidesk to gain more time during my research. If you have an idea to correct this bug, I will incite you to improve the next verison of BibDesk to correct that bug (I use BibDesk v 1.3.8 (v856)). And do not esitate to tell me if you found some solution to the problem

Thanks
