I managed to produce the error I sometimes get when previewing. The preview doesn't come up in the little window, and BD takes up 100% of the processor time, but otherwise, things work as they should. When this happened this time, I had been copying things from the cite drawer; but usually it comes up at other times, as I hardly ever use the cite drawer.
I hope this is of some use.
