No. I'm taking a hiatus after doing every release since 0.90 (57
versions?) with the exception of 1.2.11. Each one took me 2-4 hours
depending on how many commits I had to read when writing release notes,
so it basically killed an evening; not a big deal, except that I was
already spending too many evenings hacking...or staying at work late
because I spent time fixing some bug during the day. I'd estimate 10-20
hrs a week total.

So a couple months ago I sent our project manager (Mike) a note offlist
saying I was taking a break (not sure if he go it?). I'll summarize in
a way that hopefully avoids misunderstandings.

BD development was taking too much time and becoming too stressful;
ultimately I got tired of monitoring the commit list and arguing over
design details, not to mention dealing with complaints/requests from
anonymous ingrates. Much of that is entirely my own fault for taking
myself and the project too seriously! Anyway, it wasn't fun anymore,
and the return on investment was pretty low since I'm not using BD
heavily these days.

Electronic communication sucks, too...I'm sure I've taken things
personally that were never meant that way, and anonymous RFEs and bug
reports make things even worse. Maybe a monthly developer meeting via
video iChat would be a good idea...but now I'm starting to get
philosophical, so I'd better quit before I start writing about problems
with Open Source development :).

I tried finding a volunteer for that several times with no success. I
believe a non-code-contributor would be best for the job, since that
would spread out the demands on time. I'd be happy to walk someone else
through the process if needed.
