I can't think of one that's distinct from the main window, but I'd still avoid showing BibDesk's preferences to potential users, since they look complicated.

Alternatives:

- PubMed or Web of Science search
- z39.50 search
- Configuring a smart group
- File content search
- Web Group (Google Scholar?)

PubMed is typically a big draw for the life science crowd, but the last two probably have the most distinct difference for screenshots, particularly if you collapse the bottom pane.

Regardless, it's an improvement over the old site, and I like the latest design. Zooming is really fast here (OmniWeb 5.9.2 sneakypeek, MacBook Pro 2.2).
