Dear Developers, Apologies if I am sending this to the wrong list. I use BibDesk (actually with ConTeXt not LaTeX) and it is a brilliant programme. I can go and download bibliographic information under the Searches > New Search Group from the Library of Congress and other libraries but when I enter information to create a panel for our own library and try to access our own University College Dublin Library I seem to get through but the return panel with the import fields are all blank. Our Library Systems have been unable to get it to work. Here is the information that our Library Systems have given me. As you can see it has the same protocols as the University of Basel and other universities but in the case of UCD I cannot get it to work. I have also been told that they are moving to MARC21. In the drop-down panel to choose the syntax I note that the choice is US MARC with a space but as you can see below our syntax has no space USMARC. I wondered if that might be a cause of the problem.
Anyway I would be very grateful if you can offer a solution or advice.
