Dear all
I have spent many hours (two whole mornings at least over the last few weeks,
most recently) trying to troubleshoot my authentication problems with
sourceforge. I deleted all references to my ssh key and all other files
(including keychain entries) that seemed like they might store the key. As it
is now, I can’t make commits. I have scoured the sourceforge “documentation” as
well as the web for information about the error message I’m getting. I know svn
is working more generally because it works with all my other directories kept
under vc with svn.
For what it’s worth, here’s the error:
> Code/bibdesk-svn [47] zsh % svn commit --username=zcalifornianus -m "this
> commit will fail."
> svn: E170001: Commit failed (details follow):
> svn: E170001: Authorization failed
> Code/bibdesk-svn [48] zsh %
> [z_californianus@TheRuggedLansdcape]
There are many, many mailing list threads about this, but none of them come to
any resolution.
If anyone has any advice, please don’t be shy.
This means that we need someone else to take over the releases. I’d like to
solve this problem, but I don’t want releases to depend on my doing so.
Sorry everyone!
Best
Adam
