It seems unlikely that the palm can do it.

It's easy from within BibDesk, though.

When you have an Internet connection, choose the search you want from  
the "Searches" menu. Library of Congress and Pubmed are built in. You  
can add more using that menu too. You can usually find what you want  
just by entering the author's name (last name first) or some words  
from the title (starting with the start of the title, dropping "the"  
and the like).

Look at the help file in BD for more on this.

Really, it's pretty easy.

Library of Congress has a vast number of books so probably they have  
the one in your library. Just write down the title or the author and  
then look it up when you get to your computer and boom, you have the  
full citation.
