And I just fixed some of them :).  I didn't want to add fields without testing 
them (although I guess they're specified in the DTD), and I don't have WoS

I fully agree with this.  BibTeX macros are currently the way to go if you want 
to switch back-and-forth from full to abbreviated.  It's unfortunate that WoS 
returns journal names in all caps, though.  It might be worthwhile to change 
that, if others agree.

In the next build (or current svn), you can set a hidden default to add the raw 
XML string to the annote field for debugging, also (or fixing entries 
manually).  See http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Tips_and_Tricks
