Hi, I've created a simple applescript, which takes the currently selected text from skim and adds it to the appropriate Bibtex-record in BibDesk.
For finding the appropriate record, it relies upon Bibdesk's autofiling-feature, which I have configured to use part of the publication's title as the file name (%a1/%T5.pdf). If it cannot find an publication (e.g. because autofiling is not used or configured differently), the script asks if it should use the previously selected publication (which actually most of the time is the case, if Bibdesk is used to open the file in Skim). The script can be downloaded at http://www.oppl.info/software/files/ Abstract%20to%20Bibdesk Feel free to comment or make suggestions for improvements. regards, stefan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
