You're right, that's actually a much easier way to describe it! I  
really like the links from the editor window, and I would find them  
useful in the main window too, mostly as a quick visual indicator  
showing whether a publication is cross-referenced.

I have some older entries that are not cross-referenced but have  
editors etc. written in, but where, in the meantime, I've added the  
edited volume separately for some other paper. I don't want to fix  
them all at once, and I thought this way I could do it whenever I spot  
one.

It's a small point though :)
