Hi,
I am a new user to BibDesk, and am very happy with it. It does
(almost) everything I was hoping for. I like the iTunes approach to
references, combined with open source.
Here are a few questions:
- Is it OK if I ask my newbie questions on this list? :)
- I don't understand how to use the macro feature. If I want to add
@preamble{
"\def\cprime{$'$} "
}
@article {MR1468548,
AUTHOR = {Okun{\cprime}kov, A. and Ol{\cprime}shanski{\u\i}, G.},
TITLE = {Shifted {S}chur functions},
JOURNAL = {Algebra i Analiz},
FJOURNAL = {Rossi\u\i skaya Akademiya Nauk. Algebra i Analiz},
VOLUME = {9},
YEAR = {1997},
NUMBER = {2},
PAGES = {73--146},
ISSN = {0234-0852},
MRCLASS = {05E05 (05E10 17B35 20G05)},
MRNUMBER = {MR1468548 (99f:05118)},
MRREVIEWER = {Witold Kra{\'s}kiewicz},
}
and similar, how do I add \cprime to the macros? It doesn t seem to
work when I do it
- How does the bibliography sharing work?
- It would be very very very nice if you could support Mathscinet as
well. I know this isn't a free database, but it is the reference
database for most mathematicians, who in turn are the biggest users of
Latex/Bibtex (I suspect). Adding that support would tremendously
expand your user base. I can get bibtex code to appear on the Web
View, surrounded by other crap. It would be great if BibDesk could get
that code, just as for Google Scholar.
Thank you
Paul Dehaye
