Right now it looks the same as when I had TextMate as my standard-tool for editing bib-files (which I have because when I click on a bib-file I usually want to work on the source directly because there's some problem in Bibdesk).
Hopefully that doesn't occur very often.
What I see is "just" the source code of the file w/out any code-coloring or so; is this the expected behaviour? If yes, then it works fine ;)
Nope, you should see syntax coloring. The attached image shows what you should see in the Finder if your view options are set to show a preview. What happens if you do `qlmanage -r; qlmanage -p /path/to/ file.bib` in Terminal?
If qlmanage -r doesn't help, try `qlmanage -t /path/to/file.bib 2>&1 | grep BibDesk` and let me know what the output is. If you have a BibDesk plugin in ~/Library/QuickLook, you should remove it first (trash/empty or rm in Terminal).
