The CiteInPages package contains three Applescripts and two templates that support insertion of working citations from BibDesk into Pages (v. 3) documents, and automatic replacement of working citations with author-date or numbered in-text citations and insertion of formatted bibliographies.
See http://jhh.med.virginia.edu/main/CiteInPages Changes in v. 0.98 include: 1. Requires BibDesk 1.3.13. 2. In-text citation replacement was reworked, approximately doubling the speeds of the scripts. As a side effect, the scripts now scroll through the document as citations are replaced and display the bibliography at the end. User feedback has been adjusted accordingly. 3. Installation no longer requires setting up templates in BibDesk's preferences, though one optional template may be specified to control the format of dragged references (instructions are provided). Just drop the supplied files in the Scripts and Templates folders, and go. 4. A new script has been added to insert selected references in BibDesk as in-text working citations at the insertion point in Pages. This works well if you don't have a lot of room to drag, and especially well if you run Pages in one Spaces screen and BibDesk in another. 5. Author-date bibliographies now default to hanging indents, which are adjustable, and vertical spacing between entries in bibliographies can be specified. 6. The formatting of superscripted numbered citations with respect to punctuation and internal spacing was improved to be consistent with APA guidelines. 7. Author-date in-text citations and bibliographies automatically default to display and sorting by editors if no authors are specified, or the first four words of the title in the absence of authors or editors. 8. The scripts now target actions to specific documents by name rather than the frontmost document, so document order can be altered during processing without creating problems.
