hallo list, after moving to the new framework for local files (which I like a lot), I have a lot of duplicate entries for local files and remote urls like this one:
Local-Url: ~/My/Path/downloads/CizekHardleWeron2005 Url: http://www.xplore-stat.de/ebooks/scripts/stf/html/stfhtml.html Local files: ~/My/Path/downloads/CizekHardleWeron2005 ~/My/Path/downloads/CizekHardleWeron2005 ~/My/Path/downloads/CizekHardleWeron2005 Remote URLs: http://www.xplore-stat.de/ebooks/scripts/stf/html/stfhtml.html I guess I did something not very clever at one step. Question 1: Is there a way to clean this up for the whole database? Question 2: Could an option "Remove file" be a added to the context- menu when I right-click on a file-icon in the file view in the right pane when I am looking at the list view? The only way to remove one of those duplicates seems to be to open the entry and then to edit the local files. Then the context menu has "move to trash" but this removes not only the local file entry but also moves the file to trash. Could there be a warning as in ITunes? The only way I found out to remove a local file entry without moving the files to trash is opening an entry, selecting the file icon in the file view pane on the right, ignoring the "move to trash" thing but hitting delete (this does never move the files to trash). I think the difference between deleting with and without moving the files to trash is a hiden feature that could be more obvious. Sorry I didn't notice earlier or if this has been discussed earlier.
