I also found a problem with Applescript access to smart groups.

publications of targetGroup
end tell
end tell
(where group 5 is a smart group containing 20 items)
returns all the publications in the document, not just the ones
included in the group, i.e. it doesn't respect the search conditions
for the group.
That does work for me. Try with the next nightly.
Many thanks to the developers for adding group Applescript
access....hopefully the adding and smart group read issues will be
easy to fix.
