Ah. I'd never used the WoS search strings before to enter queries on their site. I've always used their web of knowledge interface. The WoS search strings work great! This is an excellent feature. I won't worry any more about the isi import filter since I can just search WoS from within bibDesk. Maybe you could add just a single sentence to the docs for novices like me who didn't know that there is a particular "web of science search string" format. Thanks, Craig > Hope that helps.
