Edit by hand?  Me?  You mean, like, with emacs?  Never happens.

Good news about the change to the error messages.  Nothing worse than  
content-free error complaints.  Reminds me of the old "bailing out  
near line 0" grousing :-}

I'll give it a shot when it comes around...
