A bit of a newbie here and I desperately need help. I have a problem
with the autofile feature with bibdesk 1.3.18.
Let's say I add a new entry to my bibliography.
I download the paper and is in a temporary folder. Say the file URL
is /Users/SomeUser/Desktop/SomePaper.pdf
I drag&drop the local-file URL in the field.
Usually, the autofile feature kicks and points towards the new
organised file like: /Users/SomeUser/Documents/Papers/SomeAuthor/
SomeTitleCiteKeyUniqueNumber.pdf
But now the local file URL always remains the one in the temporary
folder, file isn't moved or renamed according to the rules.
If I force Bibdesk to organise the file, the file is indeed
organised but the Local URL address in Bibdesk still points in the
old file in the temporary folder. Hence the program thinks the file
is lost since the link doesn't work anymore. Very practical.
I do not know if this a problem with Bibdesk or if this is a problem
with Mac Os. I double-checked the authorisations and everything
seems ok (read and write for me and the admin).
