...or you could use the Preview template at 
http://jhh.med.virginia.edu/main/TemplateNotes#journalTemplates 
, which shows a compact citation, the abstract, any text in the  
annotations field, and any Skim notes in the preview area. Just use  
the arrow key to run through the bibliography entries. Applescripts  
are available on the same page to export the same display for all  
selected entries to TextEdit or Pages.
