Hi,

Using the latest nightly build (but I see the same with the latest release 1.3.20) I cannot figure out how to properly add a template in the template preference pane ( as in: http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/manual/BibDesk%20Help_69.html#SEC130 ). I used to know how to do it, because I have added already several some time ago. So, either something has changed since then or I have forgot the procedure (sorry!) and cannot figure it out from the instructions. To summarize:

1. I want to add a template so I can see in the bottom panel the publication formatted according to this template.

2. I click on the "+" button to add a template. The first thing that happens is that I cannot change the name of the template: double- clicking doesn't have any effect. I can add a file, however. But, presumably because the template has not a proper name, it doesn't appear in the list of available templates for preview in the bottom panel.

On Leopard you click twice, as the message now says (that is: first select, wait at least the double-click time, then click again). Blame Apple ;-)

3. Something that works on 1.3.20 but not in the latest nigthly build is the posibility of editing the template file by right- clicking on its name.

Thanks, that will be fixed in the next nightly (or release).

As a workaround I can change the file to an existing template in the existing list of templates (for example to one of the ones that I created some time ago).

I would be grateful if you can tell me what I am doing wrong, or if this is a problem with the program.

With best regards,

Miguel

Also note that you can also use drag+drop to quickly add new templates or add/change files for an existing template.
