Hello all

I'm using BibDesk in tandem with Lyx and a custom biblatex style, in a
legal context.
I have had to best fit some of my natural fields into the limited
biblatex/bibtex fields available.

e.g. biblatext/bibtex field 'location' is being used to store 'Court'

I was wondering whether it is possible to create labels for fields in
custom types, so that the users see the label e.g. 'Court' when
managing the entries but in the bib file the entry is written out as
'location'.
I'm aware that I could create the custom types with custom fields and
then post process the bib file, mapping from the custom fields to
bibtex fields. But that seems messy as it would require two bib files,
one for use with BibDesk and the another post mapped for use with Lyx.

Am I correct in thinking that field labelling isn't currently
available in BibDesk? Hoping to be wrong.
Any other suggestions?
