Does anyone else have this program. Say I create a new .bib file in bibdesk:

%% This BibTeX bibliography file was created using BibDesk.
%% http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/

%% Created for Dmitry Trushchenkov at 2011-08-05 09:06:13 +0100

%% Saved with string encoding Unicode (UTF-16)

@article{barker2008,
        Author = {kate barker},
        Date-Added = {2011-08-05 09:06:01 +0100},
        Date-Modified = {2011-08-05 09:06:10 +0100},
        Year = {2008}}

now when I shut down and reopen bibdesk I get the following error:

Warning - Line 12 - 9 characters of junk seen at toplevel
Syntax Error - Line 13 - found "uthor", expected ","

and then I can't open the file no matter how I edit it
(although I shouldn't need to, the syntax is correct).
Could it be a bug to do with the encoding used?
