Well, it's not silly. For some other servers (like ISI) we do have more integrated support that lets you do this with less steps. Unfortunately that's not available for ScienceDirect. Partly that's because the Elsevier sets a few too many hurdles to get to their information (they don't seem to allow retrievals like we do in our search groups.) A web scraper (i.e. web group support) could perhaps be possible, but nobody has written one.
