For people who use CiteInPages for BibDesk bibliography formatting with Pages 4:
Pages 5 is a new program that does not provide substantial Applescript support and thus there’s no way at the moment to update CiteInPages to work with it. It’s also missing a number of other features that make it somewhat less desirable for academic writing than Pages 4. Apple has announced ongoing development of the iWork programs over the next year that will add a number of features, including improved Applescript support in Numbers and Keynote, but Applescript support in Pages is not mentioned. Thus it’s not clear when or if CiteInPages will be usable with Pages 5. In the meantime, CiteInPages continues to work with Pages 4 on OSX 10.9. The CiteInPages online documentation has been updated to reflect these developments. http://jhh.med.virginia.edu/main/CiteInPages Jim Harrison University of Virginia ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ November Webinars for C, C++, Fortran Developers Accelerate application performance with scalable programming models.
