sometimes, I want to create a static file of references from a paper that
I've written. Rather than go through my bibliography to see what cites to
manually add, I can use some of the aux files from the compilation process
to quickly generate a list of cite keys that have been used in the paper.
Is there a way to generate a static list in bibdesk based on this list of
cite keys (the cite keys correspond to the entries that I have created in
bibdesk?)?

I can see one application of this is to quickly sort out which citations I
have actually used recently, by grabbing all the cite keys that have
appeared in my papers. Periodically, I could clean house on my bibdesk and
weed out citations that I just don't use.

If anyone knows a way to do that, I would very much appreciate help in
figuring that out!
