It would have no effect on the Lumotec's standlight. However, the
taillight would have no standlight. If the Supernova taillight is used
with the Supernova E3 headlight, then the taillight does have a
standlight, provided by the E3 headlight. So if you want a taillight
with a standlight, you'll need to either choose a different taillight
or change to a Supernove E3 headlight.

They are available now. I'm the US importer. Your local bike shop can
order it from Peter White Cycles. Also, Harris Cyclery has been
selling them in the US longer than anyone else and should have plenty
in stock.
