Can't beat an open top bucket pannier with a zipper'd thermal grocery
bag for shopping! Pannier costs about $5 to make with two rope cleats
and a bungee, and the thermal bag is sold in nearly every grocery
these days for a couple dollars. You can carry the bucket in to do
your shopping with.
