Does anyone have any experience with Paul Thumbies? I'm setting up a bike with trekking bars and since I have a pair of bar end shifters, the thumbies looked like they would be useful. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. When I tighten the top screw (on the shifter), it takes an awful lot of effort to move the shift lever. I'm wondering if I shouldn't have gotten one of the regular shimano shift mechanisms that fit on mtb bars. G
