Johnny, first of all don't hesitate to attach your prototype even if it doesn't
integrate with Bigtop yet. It would be helpful for others to see what has been
developed so far.
I can immediately see the benefit in a tarball managemend backend for pmanager
in iTest (as a sublcass of org.apache.bigtop.itest.pmanager.PackageInstance the
same way things like DEBPackage/RPMPackage are its subclasses).
