** ** Human, animal foetuses found in jars in Jharkhand village Hazaribagh (Jharkhand), June 25: Reisdents of a Karkhup village near Mandu in Jharkhand are in a state of shock after the discovery of 14 jars containing human and animal foetuses. The jars remained unnoticed in a wooden box in the room of Jethu Mahto. He alleges that the box was left behind by a magician who had visited the village over a year ago during a religious ritual. He had hired the room to keep his belongings and went around conducting his shows in neighbouring villages. He had assured Mahto of returning at the earliest from his village. The contents of the wooden box were discovered while being shifted by the owner. The box cracked open and everything scattered around. "We are from Karkhup village. A year back a magician came. There was no money with him so he didn't take his belongings and kept the box here. He said not to open it till the time he doesn't return. After a year, when we started looking at the things we found animals, birds and human foetuses. We threw the stuff out," said Awdhesh Mahto, a landlord. The magicians reportedly had two girls along with him in his team. The police officials say investigation is on and they are looking for the magician. "It's too early to say anything as the matter is a year old," said Manoj Kumar Tiwari of the Mandu Police Station.
