The state cabinet presided over by chief minister Vasundhara Raje has
decided to extend an immediate financial assistance of Rs 10 crore to
flood-hit Bihar.

Cabinet spokesman and minister Laxmi Narayan Dave said if necessary the
state would give more assistance to the flood ravaged state. He also
appealed to the people to come forward to donate money to the chief
minister's relief fund to help the people suffering from flood in Bihar.

The flood situation in the state took a turn for the worse with Madhepura,
