Dear All

 After speaking on my Day 2 Visit with government officials, prominent NGOs
like Red Cross it is very apparent that the funds are coming, affected
people are getting relief but there is still lot required as, although flood
is annual visitor in the state *but this year flood is quite different from
normal flood*. *The river, KOSI, sorrow of Bihar has changed the course
after hundreds of year and now flowing through the area in which people did
not know flood and the misery it caused.* Rather they had been caught
unaware. *About 5 lacs families have lost every thing – their home,
belongings and what ever earthly materials they have including their lands
over which now the river is flowing.*

* *

*The comman feed back of all the persons whom so ever I met is that
government is doing fantastic job but the challenge is really Herculean ,
whatever resources are available needs to be supplemented heavily still. *

* *

*It is my humble appeal to all of you that please come forward and send your
contribution to an NGO "Red Cross" who are doing fantastic job in
alleviating the suffering of the flood victims and also mobilze your near
and dear ones for the cause.*

* *

*One can donate the funds directly to them as per following details:*

* *

*Beneficiary Name: I R C S Bihar State Branch.*

*A/C Number : 10217217506*
