I am overwhelmed by the response made by Hassan Iqbal in Cool Bihari Group.
I expect many more to follow Hassan very soon.
"..............I am planning to start a man power development institute in
Patna for IT industry as my full time career goal and then from there
onwards start IT companies and promote IT in state. I am dreaming of making
Bihar the largest exporter of software products and service from India. We
have talent working elsewhere, let us bring them to Bihar. In the same vein
we can start lots of Colleges in state that offer professional programs for
which our kids go to Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai etc. This will check the flow
of money outside the state as well as create lots of jobs in education
sector. I am working on that. Let us do it. We can sure do it together.
Please see my blog site as part of my beginning in this direction:

I am sure in next 5 years Bihar will become heaven if we have 100 Hassan
Iqbals. This is what is meant by a positive and creative approach. Ideas for
a Leap Forward for Bihar need to be concretised soon.

The contents of the aforesaid msg should be an eye opener for everybody from
Bihar. This is the way out, not accusing Raj Thakrey or running around in a
circle trying to catch our own tails or getting into the trap of those of
our own leaders who have no dreams, no vision except strong love for the
votes and lust for Power.

I consider Kosi Floods and Raj Thakrey and his MNS a blessing in disguise
for Biharis which has provided us with a timely opportunity to re-build
Bihar - a modern Bihar where its sons and daughters can lead a respectable
life not that of a slave or alms seekers.

I earnestly request members to kindly respond on the points suggested by me
in my earlier mail by including a new approach or even a negative comment.
No hard feelings this side.

Subject: Approaching the US for Raj Thakrey- Wrong Action
To:

Dear All,
The msg "NRI group asks US to put MNS on terror watch list posted in
Bihar-Network Group" can be read in
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Bihar-Network/message/342

My Response:
In my considered opinion this action of requesting the US Govt to declare
Raj Thakrey a Terrorist by the NRIs/ NRBs is completely wrong and a
misplaced priority. The issue has to be settled by us and within our
framework. It is only to be deplored. I am also afraid that in the Indian
Legal Framework it can be an Anti- National Act.

   1. Pl. remember that the US has not settled the issues anywhere. It only
acted like a Monkey and the Two fighting cats story and returned from
everywhere with a bloody face. Just look where it is today.
   2. My humble suggestion is to raise the economic, social and cultural
level of Bihar to a level which surpasses every other Unit/ State in India.
For this we have to put our heads together, think in a positive way how to
create wealth and Job opportunities in the State.
   3. Pl. remember that Biharis are mostly employment oriented not
entrepreneurship type. The elites in the Bihar Groups must work on a honest
strategy to set up (a) small industries,(b) soil testing labs in each
district, (c) Food processing industries, (d) set up or Transfer Head or
Branch offices in Patna and elsewhere, (e) Institutions for Professional and
   Vocational courses.
   4. Academic sessions in Existing Educational Systems (Univesities) must
be corrected to make it July -May. This will be an indicator of our
sensitivity towards a disciplined behaviour. Pl. note that once the sessions
got derailed in 1966-67 nothing could be done to correct the sessions.
   5. Fix a five year Plan to achieve these objectives and you will see a
reverse journey of Marathis from Maharashtra to Bihar seeking Jobs.
   6. I also suggest that some resourceful person must work out how to stop
Money flow from States to Mumbai.
