The mobile classroom is an innovative concept. It is already being
used by one of the super 30 teachers for hosting classroms in gaya.
But there are some concerns like:

To tech a group of students, a classroom is still needed.

If you aim to achieve it through mobile value added service then you
have to have an agreement with the mobile companies and mobile content
service providders which is quiet costly.Nextly, such utilatarian
services are completly missing in India so there is a "blue ocean"
potential provided it is backed by a sound strategy and marketing. If
you plan to use any such concepts you can count me in, i can develop
the strategy, but negotiating with mobile companies and mobile
content service providders is still a hectic job and some sort of NGO
help is needed. I am aware of UNESCO "continuing education plan"where
they need innovative technology to impart education, for more details
you may contact the UNESCO office in Patna.

The other problem is teaching if its going something like a person
giving lectures on phone then the quality is a concern else if you
plan to bradcast it over the mobile channels then you may need
sophesticated technologies for preparing the content and then relaying
it over the network. However, for this choice you may consider to tie
up with an mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). MVNO buys telephone
connections (usually in millions) to proveide services in areas where
the actual mobile company cannot or doesnot want to start operations
due to fierce compition or other beaurocratic problems, but still
finance is a concern here.

Else you may use a short wave radio transmission something like
amateur radio which is very cost effective and doesnt costs much.

Let me know what you think.
