I wish to totally endorse the views expressed through the following lines:-
Its a total distraction policy of a failing / failed government. I am not against or for article 377 as its irrelevant for me but I think there are other important laws to be amended like 1) Article 370 of constitution (Kashmir's issue) 2) Making India a real SECULAR country removing reservations in the name of RELIGION & CASTE. 3) Making better anti terror law. 4) Executing court orders, punishing terrorist. 5) Tackling Pakistan & US pressure on Kashmir. 6) Economic slow down The list is endless, My view is that if I would have been PM these things should have been on my priority list instead of getting into unnecessary controversy and disturbing peoples sentiments on these trivial issues. But then its very old ROMAN PRACTICE that keep the peoples disturbed or engaged in things so that they don't notice your failure or don't take notice of your failures.
