Locked Luggage Compartments on NJ TRANSIT

I have been told by a bicycle coalition member who lives in NJ that NJ TRANSIT has locked all the luggage compartments on their cruiser buses. That mean no bike access on routes that are the most critical these include   All buses that connect Philadelphia to the NJ Shore All buses that from Philadelphia that serve Salem and Cumberland Counties   Worse than that though is that it now means pot luck on routes that use  both the cruiser buses (without bike racks) and the transit buses with bike racks. This means that you might get a ride to where you are going but you might not get a ride coming back.   I am currently confirming this report with NJ Customer service, there is no mention of this on the website.   John
