A cyclist came into the office who was just
ticketed by a police officer for riding on the sidewalk. The officer found that
he had a suspended drivers license. The officer threatened to arrest him if he
got on his bicycle because he would be driving on a suspended license. I asked
if the statute mentioned bicycles and the cyclist said no. It sounds like a
totally baseless
threat and borders on harrassment. Any advice or
precedence you could give me would be helpful.
