I think it's Madison police rather than sheriff's responsibility, but I have noticed many cars going northbound on South Park Street into the diamond lane two or more blocks before turning right on West Washington Avenue. Those that encounter bikers in the diamond lane pass and cut in right in front of the bikers to make their turn.
