I suspect that the Brono ends up being registered to a Police
officer, or a close aquiantance of an officer. Something similar
happened to me once when I called in a complaint about a vehicle parked
improperly and blocking our driveway. When the parking enforcement
officer showed up he came to my door and made an argument that the
person should not be towed - the officer tried to justify the violation.
I checked the vehicle later and it turns out it had a "I Love Cops"
sticker on the back, which I believe can only be obtained by donating to
a Police officer's fund.
