For those interested in joining the National Mountain
Bike patrol . . . read on.

IMBA's National Mountain Bike Patrol (NMBP) program
organizes and supports volunteer bike patrols
throughout the United States and around the world.
Patrollers provide assistance to hikers, equestrians,
and especially mountain bikers. They give
information, provide directions, help with minor
repairs, and provide first aid. IMBA assists in
forming new patrol groups, certifies individual
patrollers, and helps to provide equipment and medical
supplies

The local Wisconsin Chapter of the NMBP will be
conducting patroller trailing the first two weekends
on June. The first event (June 1 & 2) will be at the
Southern Kettles and the second event (June 8 & 9) is
planned at 9-mile park in Wausau. Contact Brian
Leininger at [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you would like to
attend one of the events. If you have any general
questions about the NMBP then please contact me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

The following two links will give a little info on the

Subject: WORBAlist: NMBP-WI training June 1-2

Hi everyone,

This is just a reminder that while we have a free
patrol training class scheduled for June 1-2 at
Southern Kettles, you *must* pre-register for it.
Please contact me ASAP if you wish to participate in
this training.

To become a patroller, you must complete one of these
training sessions, have current First Aid/CPR
certifications, be a member in good standing of WORBA,
IMBA, and NMBP, and complete one ride with an
experienced patroller. You can take the patrol
training class before you get First Aid/CPR
certifications.

If you have any questions, or wish to sign up for the
class, please contact me via email at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks!

Brian Leininger
Interim Director
National Mountain Bike Patrol of Wisconsin
