ADULTS A reminder that Bicycle Federation is teaching a variety of classes throughout Dane County this summer. The locations, times, and dates are listed on our webpage if you want to see what is available close to you. There is generally a charge for these classes. Please call the hosting location to register or for cost.
We all have friends, family, neighbors or colleagues that say, "I'd like to ride more, but...." These classes might be the way to overcome the "but...." Please pass them on to others. MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS We are also teaching "Bike Clubs" for middle school students this summer. These 12-hour, one week (Mon-Fri every morning or afternoon) programs have been very popular with parents and kids. Although the group will spend most of the time on rides through neighborhood streets and to nearby destinations, there will also be important safety lessons. If you would like to register your kids for any of the Bike Clubs, please call or email Bike Fed to get registration information. The cost is $20 per student. Scholarships are available. The following programs still have space: Marshall Middle School (Marshall, WI) July 22-26, 12:30-3:00 pm Waunakee Community Center July 29-August 2, 9:00-11:30 am Shorewood Hills Community Center (a good location if you are on the near-west of Madison) August 5-9, 9:00-11:30 am And finally, if you would like to have classes set up for your group, community, neighborhood, or employer, please let us know. Thanks for passing the word! -- Robbie Robbie Webber Program Manager Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin 106 E Doty St, Ste. 400 PO Box 1224 Madison, WI 53701-1224 608-251-4456 (voice) 608-251-4594 (fax) [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.bfw.org _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
