Hold on there, chief. You misunderstood. the average trail maintenance for paved trails is $4800/mile for TEN YEARS. That is $480/mile PER YEAR. Ken LePine was bragging that they must be doing much more than usual because they are spending $3000/mile EVERY YEAR. I did find out in a conversation with LePine that they mow the Cap City Trail twice as often as my yard gets cut! Now granted, my yard is no example of landscaping beauty, but the CCT is largely prairie, woodlands, and wetlands, not a golf course.
